EvoUV Ultraviolets from Evolution Aqua
When the evoUVs go on sale, there will be three models making up the range. The smallest UV features a 30 watt bulb and will be known as the evo30. Next will be the evo55 model that houses a 55 watt bulb, and then completing the range is the evo110 which contains two 55 watt bulbs.
The fundamental benefits of Evolution Aqua's evoUV range is the design and build quality. They have been expertly designed using the latest technology and will be manufactured from the same polymer that is used on the tried and tested Nexus, EazyPod and Cetus sieve filters. This polymer has stood the test of time, and is renowned for forming hard wearing, long lasting units. Not only that but this polymer is UV stabilised which means it will offer a higher reflective index than a stainless steel body.
Each evoUV will feature an integrated power and bulb life indicator. This means there will be no doubt when the bulbs are working and when they will need to be replaced. The bulbs will last approximately 9,000 hours or about one year. Even if the UV is turned off the internal chip will remember how long the bulb has left to run.
