Reptile Heating
All reptiles need an external source of heating in there Vivarium, there are several ways of doing this, depending on your Reptiles needs.
 
Basking Spot Lamps to provide heat to specific areas of the vivarium such as Exo-Terra Heat Glo Lamps.
  
Substrate Heaters like Exoterra Heat Wave and Exo Terra Heat Wave Rocks are ideal, Thermostats are necessary to maintain correct temperature for day and night and also to create a temperature gradiant in the Vivarium, Use accurate thermometers to monitor this.
Reptile Lighting
All reptiles require Ultra Violet Light, UVA helps to stimulate appetite, activity and reproductive behaviour. UVB enables Reptiles to produce Vitamin D3 which helps them use calcium in their diet correctly.

Exo Terra Vivariums and Terrariums
When setting up a Vivarium or Terrarium the size of your Reptile must be taken into consideration and its adult size should be noted.
Many Snakes are agoraphobic and should be kept in small Exo Terra Faunarium whilst young and transferred into larger Vivariums as they grow.
The Exo Terra Glass Terrarium is the ideal reptile or amphibian housing designed by European herpetologists. The front opening doors allow easy access for maintenance and feeding. A specially designed lock will prevent escape and the doors can be opened separately. The full screen top ventilation allows UVB and infrared penetration, and is completely removable for easy access while decorating or cleaning. In the back of the screen cover are 5 closable wire or tube inlets on both sides to install Heat Wave Rocks, Waterfalls, sensors, etc. inside the terrarium. The bottom plate of the terrarium is raised to mount a substrate heater to heat a part of the extended ground surface. The extra high fixed front window is ideal for thick layers of substrates (burrowing reptiles), aquatic parts (paludarium) or to mount an Exo Terra reptile den. The natural background is in the same colour like all other Exo Terra decoration items (Water Dishes, Waterfalls, Heat Wave Rocks, etc.) and provides an extra climbing dimension.
